THE SITUATION
Each customer issue explained one case, while the operating pattern remained difficult to see.
Issue records contained status, ownership, priority, duration, customer context, and notes. Case-level detail was necessary, but teams also needed to understand the balance of open and closed work and how long issues remained unresolved.
THE REPORTING GAP
Issue management needed both a portfolio view and a path back to the individual case.
- Open and closed issue distribution needed summary visibility
- Closure time and open duration needed separate analysis
- Assignee, priority, and customer detail still had to remain accessible
THE APPROACH
Layer issue summaries, duration analysis, and case detail into one review path.
The dashboard begins with overall issue status, separates closed-issue resolution timing from open-issue aging, and retains a detailed view of assignees, priorities, days open, customers, and issue notes.
VISUAL PROOF
Issue patterns in view
See customer issues move from status overview to duration analysis and record-level detail.

THE OUTCOME
Customer issues became visible as both operational patterns and individual cases.
