THE SITUATION
Building a quote meant coordinating multiple costs, selections, and totals.
Repair and installation estimates draw from itemized fittings, parts and equipment, labor, core services, fees, markups, and customer information. Those inputs have to remain connected as a quote moves from cost entry to review and final presentation.
THE FRICTION
The difficult part was not entering a price. It was keeping every pricing decision connected.
- Fittings and parts/equipment costs were built through separate itemized inputs
- Cost totals, labor, fees, markups, margin, and profitability had to be reviewed together
- Only selected items could move forward into the customer-facing quote
THE APPROACH
Build the quote from structured inputs instead of assembling the final number manually.
The tool creates one path from item-level quantities, costs, and markups into a consolidated summary. Selected quote items then move into a quote-ready list before estimate details, customer information, labor fees, and the final amount are presented in the customer output.
TOOL IN ACTION
From cost inputs to customer quote
See pricing move from itemized costs through review and consolidation into the final quote.

THE OUTCOME
Quote preparation became one connected pricing process.
Before
- Fittings and parts/equipment costs handled as separate pricing steps
- Totals, markups, margin, and profitability reviewed across individual inputs
- Quote selections assembled apart from the pricing detail
- Customer output depended on repeated manual assembly
After
- Itemized pricing organized within one structured tool
- A summary consolidates the pricing and cost picture
- Selected items feed a quote-ready list
- The customer quote is generated from the structured pricing process
